On-site Laboratory
Blood draws and routine testing in the office, with results reviewed by the clinician who ordered them.
Moses Medical runs an on-site laboratory in the office on Westchester Avenue, for our own patients and for anyone who arrives with an order from another clinician, so a blood draw can happen during a visit you were already coming in for.
The lab is CLIA-certified and runs complete blood counts, metabolic and lipid panels, A1C, thyroid tests, urinalysis, STI screening, and drug screening. Results go back to the clinician who ordered them, and that clinician walks you through what the numbers mean: what is in range, what moved since last time, and what to do about it.
Come in the morning for fasting blood work, so you are not waiting all day to eat. If the test is checking how a medicine is working, bring your medication list, and bring the order if another clinician sent you.
The lab is open during office hours, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Call before you come if the fasting instructions are unclear or you are not sure whether a test needs an appointment.
Walk in for a draw with an order from another clinician. If the test still needs to be ordered, book a visit first and the lab work happens alongside it.
